Some Definitive Cinematic Film Story Lines

It used to be that you had to go to the video store to get a movie. Now, with internet usage exploding, movie downloads are becoming very popular. You can get virtually any movie you want with a good movie download site. Here are some examples.

Star Trek: Nemesis: The Romulans have a new leader in power. Since they are the closest starship in the area, the Enterprise is sent to the neutral zone to speak with Preator, the new Romulan leader. He has told the Federation he wants a peace treaty. When the Enterprise arrives they find themselves in the middle of a situation that could lead to the destruction of Earth.

Lawyer Man: Powell is aces in this entertaining pre-Cipher tirade as an ambitious attorney-with a near-lethal eye for the chicks-who jumbles with crooked congressmen. Blondell is his dependable, lovesick secretary. Powell even talks Yiddish in this one. Cast includes William Powell, Joan Blondell, Claire Dodd, Sheila Terry, Alan Dinehart, David Landau, Roscoe Karns, and Sterling Holloway. (72 minutes, 1932)

Good to Go: Forgettable fare in reference to reporter Garfunkel, who's framed on a rape-slaughter charge. Highlighted are the behaviors of such go-go groups as Redds & the Boys, Trouble Funk, Get rid of Brown & the Mind Scavengers, amid others. Cast includes Craft Garfunkel, Robert Doqui, Harris Yulin, Reginald Daughtry, Richard Brooks, Hattie Winston, and Anjelica Huston. (87 minutes, 1986)

Irreversible: "Debatable" doesn't start to explain this gross, over the top, rape and revenge story, told in look backs, spotlighting occurrences around the defiling of gorgeous Bellucci. Graphically vicious, even by modern-day guidelines, this hyped up exploitation film characterizes a lengthened rape scene and cruel kill that's difficult to endure. Cast includes Monica Bellucci, Vincent Cassel, Albert Dupontel, Philippe Nahon, and Jo Prestia. (95 minutes, 2002)

The Doughgirls: This comedy is another story of crowded wartime Washington with newlyweds Carson and Wyman on a chaotic honeymoon. Arden stands out as Russian army officer. Cast includes Ann Sheridan, Alexis Smith, Jane Wyman, Eve Arden, Jack Carson, Charlie Ruggles, Alan Mowbray, Craig Stevens, and Regis Toomey. (102 minutes, 1944)

Point Break: Johnny Utah, a rookie FBI agent, goes undercover, as a surfer, to infiltrate a suspicious group of surfers that might be responsible for a string of bank heists. He is taken in by the group, and learns the life of a surfer. When it's time will Johnny Utah be able to take these criminals down.

A Day Without a Mexican: Premise has Californians arising to find there isn't a. lone Latino left in the state once they all mysteriously vanish. Let the comedy start! Striving for satire, the filmmakers miss the mark entirely with this insipid, forgettable film, which has only a few entertaining moments. Arau child of Alfonso and his spouse, Arizmendi, initially made this as a small subject. Cast includes Caroline Aaron, Tony Abatemarco, Melinda Allen, Yareli Arizmendi, and Maria Beck. (100 minutes, 2004)

Boot Hill: Western ravioli representing another of the traditional teaming of blue-eyed, stone-jawed Hill and his bear of a associate Spencer. Trinity Rides Once more. Cast includes Terence Hill, Bud Spencer, Woody Strode, Winner Bono, Lionel Stander, and Eduardo Ciannelli. (87 minutes, 1969)

Horton Hears A Who: A wonderful Dr Seuss story makes it to the big screen. Horton the elephant is the only one who can hear the people who live on a 'speck', which he has put on a flower. His job is to find a safe place for the speck, so the little people can avoid the impending disaster.
