UK Wedding Venues Throughout The Country

By Janet Smith

UK wedding venues can be found throughout the country and you will be able to find a venue that suite any couple. There are glamorous venues, relaxed venues, historical venues, mysterious venues and much more. There are exotic venues that offer a memorable wedding. Your wedding is a special event and you should have a ceremony and reception that you want.

The film industry in the UK is extensive and having your wedding and reception at a film studio or location can be a lot of fun. If you are having a theme wedding then you may be able to have your wedding on a film set that matches your themes.

The UK has many film studios as the UK film industry is going strong. Wilton's music hall has been used in many films including Delovely, Tipping the Velvet and Interview with a Vampire. It is also a listed Grade II building.

There are many historical wedding venues throughout the country as castles, forts and estates are spread throughout Scotland, Wales and England. These estates are all licensed for receptions, wedding ceremonies and civil ceremonies. Ufton court, Notley Abbey, Craig y Nos Castle Hotel, and Albury Park Mansion are but a few of such historical wedding venues.

Two very unique UK wedding venues include the pump rooms and roman baths in Bath and Altitude 360 in London. Altitude 360 is a fantastic venue that is on the 29th floor of the Millbank Tower and offers some fantastic views. The pump rooms and bath were built over 2, 000 years ago and are a unique and fun wedding venue.

The UK also has its share of ghosts and other strange venues. If you are looking for a wedding reception with a twist then you can hold your reception at one of the many haunted mansions in the UK or in a medieval castle that comes complete with a moat. One such haunted mansion is Boys Hall. This hall has beautiful grounds but it is also one of the most haunted places in the UK. The hall is completely restored and if you are looking for some unexpected visitors then this can be a great venue.
