How To Light Your Cigar Using A Cigar Lighter

By Dave Sabot

One of the most common questions asked by first time cigar smokers concerns using a cigar lighter to actually get their smoke going. Lighting that cigar is certainly a necessity, but there's also an art to it. Successfully lighting a cigar requires several things, including patience, knowhow and the right tools. Those tools include a butane lighter, and a cigar cutter. It's important that you have high quality tools, as well.

The first thing you need to do is to remove about 1/8th of an inch from the cap of the cigar. To do this, place the cutter on the shoulder of the cap and cut. You will find that this really only applies to guillotine cutters, though, as the process is different with scissors or a punch. When the cap has been cut, you can start the actual lighting process. However, don't touch that flame to the cigar just yet. You need to warm it up first.

This is a process called toasting and it is required to bring the tobacco up to temperature. You should also ensure that the lighter you use is fueled with butane, rather than lighter fluid, as butane is odorless and tasteless. Therefore, it will not taint the cigar with any chemical flavors or odors. Once the cigar has been toasted, you can continue with the lighting process. Place the cigar in your mouth at a 45-degree angle. Hold the cigar's body with one hand and use the other to hold the lighter. Light the lighter and hold the cigar over the flame. Turn the cigar in your mouth, and draw on it as it turns.

Do not use any type of lighter other than a butane-fueled device, as other types of fuel can give your cigar a chemical taste or odor. To light your cigar, hold it in your mouth, tilted at about 45 degrees. Hold the lighter in front of it, but do not touch the flame to the tobacco. Inhale through the cigar and the flame will bend to touch the tobacco. Turn the cigar in your mouth while holding the flame. This will ensure that the cigar lights evenly.

Once the foot of the cigar is lit, take it out of your mouth. You'll need to visually inspect the cigar to make sure that the entire surface was lit. If you see areas that did not light, or are only smoldering, you'll need to relight the cigar once more. Just repeat the process above and you will have your cigar burning bright in no time. In just moments, you will be able to relax with that delightful flavor and aroma.

Dallas Tops Atlanta As Romo Stars

By Ross Everett

Dallas Cowboys' quarterback Tony Romo has been plagued by inconsistency over the past two seasons, but on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons he was in top form. Romo threw for 311 yards and 3 touchdowns with no interceptions as Dallas ripped the visiting Falcons by a final score of 37-21. Backup receiver Miles Austin had another solid game in place of injured starter Roy Williams, with 171 yards receiving and two touchdown grabs.

NFL betting enthusiasts who backed Dallas as -5' home favorite were rewarded with a pointspread victory. The Cowboys evened their mark against the NFL pointspread at 3-3, while Atlanta slipped to 4-2 against the number.

In his postgame comments to the media, Romo gave props to the undrafted Austin for making the best of his opportunity:

"He's definitely a big part of this offense. I'm glad to see all his hard work and effort is paying off."

Dallas owner Jerry Jones commended Romo on his play:

"I think that you've got a wiser and you've got a more experienced Tony Romo than of old, and I think you see he's still got some of that instinctive thing that he can make plays and make winning plays."

The Cowboys' defense pestered the Falcons' Matt Ryan into two interceptions, and 34 year old Keith Brooking was a big part of that. Based on his comments after the game, there may be some 'sour grapes' after he was cut loose by the Falcons after 11 seasons in an Atlanta uniform:

"The last thing I was told by one of the coaches is this is a young man's game. I guess an old man can still play in this league."

Patrick Crayton returned a punt for a touchdown and caught a Romo pass for another. Cowboys' coach Wade Phillips had this praise for him:

"Crayton is the kind of guy you want on your football team. He's going to make plays when he has opportunities."

Losing quarterback Matt Ryan had little to say about the defeat:

"It's frustrating because we feel we can play better."

Atlanta has a difficult road challenge ahead as they travel south to face the red hot New Orleans Saints next Monday night. The Falcons have been installed as +10 road underdogs with the total set at 54. Dallas will host the Seattle Seahawks this weekend, with the Cowboys a -9' home favorite and the total set at 45. They'll play on the road the following two Sundays against the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers.

Don't rush into it though! Make sure that you read a few things about RTG casinos first. There are a lot of rules to follow, and they are there for a reason, after all, without rules there would just be chaos!

Play Mechanics

Before you begin to play, there is software to install. The RTG site that you are using will have this software and it will be readily available. So long as you actually have a computer and internet connection, this will be no problem.

Prepare to play, but only after you do these things:

*To begin your download, you will want to pick an RTG casino, and when you have done this, it's time to register. Create a new account in the lobby, and then decide how you want to deposit money into the account. There are many methods that you can use. You could use a credit card, or you could use a wire transfer. It's really up to you, and the options available will depend on what RTG you use. Finish your registration process and click OK.

*You will need to head over to the lobby to deposit your money. When you go there, there should be a 'Cashier' option. This will allow you to make your preferred deposit and you will get in on the game, which is what you've been waiting for.

It's pretty easy to get into the game. There are likely a lot of tables available, and you need only sit down at one. Whether you Video slots, progressive games, real series, whatever you want. You're sure to have a great time!

Player Etiquette

It's common for any place, whether online or off-there are going to be rules. Make sure that you follow these rules so that everyone will be much happier. But if you do not heed the rules, you will more than likely find yourself banned, which is a bad situation for anyone.

* Make sure that you stick with players of your own skill. By doing this you will ensure that everyone has a fun and challenging experience. If you wish to move up in the ranks, play some games for fun so you'll get the hang of the harder games.

* There is usually a chat function, but make sure that you use it with care. Do not abuse the chat with profanities or hate slurs. This can only lead to trouble for you later on.

*If you wish to chat or speak in forums, RTG casinos will demand that yous peak English. Please understand that this isn't a discrimination of any kind, it is simply the most common language, and it is easier if everyone speak it.

Play Limits

When you gamble, you want to make sure that you at least to t responsibly. Yes, it can be a hassle, but set limits for yourself so that you don't end up becoming addicted. When the limit is reached it's quite simple: stop gambling. Don't let it tear your life apart, and don't walk away from everything you know just because of a gambling addiction.

If you follow the rules and set your limits, then you're bound to have a great time with RTG casinos. So get to it, and enjoy!

Roulette Bandit

By Frank Shaw

This article is going to be about a roulette system called roulette bandit. There is no doubt that this roulette bandit system has taken the online gaming industry by storm because of the things that are said on the website.

Pretty much every roulette system that I have seen on the internet comes with what I like to call a "sexy" website. What this means is that there are lots of bold claims about easy money and pictures of luxury resorts etc.

The roulette bandit seemed a lot more upfront about what you could expect with his roulette system and because I learnt a thing or two from his website I thought what the heck and decided to buy it.

So does the roulette bandit offer a good roulette system or is he just a marketing genius? Well at first glance the roulette bandit's system seems too difficult. I actually put it on the back burner for a while and didn't bother using it.

After a week of digesting the information I had been given I was ready to put it into practice. It was worth my time learning the betting patterns because they actually work. It requires some patience to use but an upside is that it doesn't require a large bankroll.

After weeks of using the roulette bandit system I have come to the conclusion that it is a steady system. The good news is that you never need to place any large bets. Some systems make you place large bets to cover previous losses and can make you lose very quickly but this doesn't happen with the roulette bandit.

If I'm honest I've never seen anything like the system that the roulette bandit sent me. Most system and software packages that I have seen are very similar in the systems that they apply but the roulette bandit has definitely thought outside the box to come up with this.

The only downside to the roulette bandit system is that it is not a software application. Almost every system for sale online today comes in a software format and while there are some that are pretty awful they are still easy to use.

Don't misinterpret what I'm saying here, the roulette bandit has done a very good job in outlining the system but it requires some time to learn and then implement it unlike a software application which is ready to go from the start.

In conclusion to this review I think that the roulette bandit offers a very good roulette system and it is certainly up there with the best that I have bought. The best thing about it is the fact that you don't need a large bankroll and you will never need to place any large bets while still having the potential to win good money if you put the time in to use it.

Enlightening Outlines Of A Unique Selection Of Major Motion Pictures

By Rena Ward

Some film reviews are listed below. If you are looking for a movie download site here are some phrases to search. A good movie download search would use phrases such as "Best Movie Rental", "How Do I Download Movies", and "Full Movie Download".

Hoppity Goes to Town: A delightful excited film in regards to occupants of Worm-Ville and their assorted complications living in a human world, and bullied by villainous C. Bagley Beetle. Excellent looking film however an uninteresting tale. (77 minutes, 1941)

Rebel: Tiresome, justifiably vague time tablet characterizing Stallone, pre-stardom, as a disassociated political extremist (a fascinating balance to Rambo). Cast includes Antony Page, Sylvester E. Stallone, Rebecca Dirties, and Henry G. Sanders. (112 minutes, 1974)

Bootmen: Novice director Perry (of the dance group Tap Dogs) used his own background to develop this toe tapping film of a youthful gentleman's escape into big-time show business, and then back once more as he rallies his blue collar tap-dancing cronies to build his own modern-day dance show. Cast includes Adam Garcia, Sam Worthington, Sophie Lee, Christopher Horsey, Lee McDonald, William Zappa, and Richard Carter. (93 minutes, 2000)

Repo Man: Immediate cult-film in regards to a new wave delinquent who takes a job recouping automobiles. This film mixes satire and science fiction with entertaining outcomes. Stanton is perfect as a repo guy who shows Estevez the business. Cast includes Emilio Estevez, Harry Dean Stanton, Vonetta McGee, Olivia Barash, Sy Richardson, Tracey Walter, Susan Bames, and Fox Harris. (92 minutes, 1984)

Days of Glory: A genuine although trudging WW2 action film pitting the Russians versus the Nazis, memorable only as Peck's big screen debut. Cast includes Gregory Peck, Alan Reed, Maria Palmer, Lowell Gilmore, and Tamara Toumanova. (86 minutes, 1944)

No Man of Her Own: Turgid drama based on Cornell Woolrich story of Stanwyck presuming another's identity, later being blackmailed by ex-boyfriend. Cast includes Barbara Stanwyck, John Lund, Jane Cowl, Phyllis Thaxter, and Richard Denning. (98 minutes, 1950)

The Great Manhunt: Fable of the West is nothing particularly special as McCrea dreams of oil wells, while Donlevy takes his gal. Stanwyck ages to one hundred in her role. Cast includes Barbara Stanwyck, Joel McCrea, Brian Donlevy, Thurston Chamber, K. T. Stevens, and Lucien Littlefield. (90 minutes, 1942)

Prophecy: A classical musician and her physician spouse quarrel over what appears to be gigantic salami in upstate Maine after mercury turns animals into large mutants and worse. A ludicrous terror film that is excellent for a few chuckles. Cast includes Talia Shire, Robert Foxworth, Armand Assante, Richard Dysart, and Victoria Racimo. (95 minutes, 1979)

The Alamo: The film covers the impassioned series of events leading up to the legendary 1836 siege in San Antonio, Texas. A more precise rendition than earlier renderings of the tale, it still battles to handle the numerous elements of this historical occurrence. Cast includes Billy Bob Thornton, Dennis Quaid, Jason Patric, Patrick Wilson, and Emilio Echeverria (135 minutes, 2004)

Did you know you can find tons of movies online that you can download? Don't forget, search with terms like "Internet Movie Downloads" and "Fast Movie Downloads" to find download sites. If you need to do more searches, use "Best Movie Rental".

Getting An Affordable Region Free Portable DVD Player

By Mark Thompson

A region free portable DVD player just may be just the thing you to buy if you want to be able to see movies from all across the world anywhere you are. Standard region-blocked DVD players are becoming cheaper all of the time, and region free models follow that trend.

Region codes for DVDs are put in place as a form of digital rights management by movie studios in order to attempt to restrict sales outside of certain territories. This is all well and good for the film studios themselves, but it limits what is available to the consumer. Every country has their own film industry and sales points, release dates and DVD special features.

If you are fluent in another language, then naturally you want to be able to view media in your native or second tongue. It's only a given to want more forms of entertainment and to want another window to the world open. A region free portable DVD player can provide you with more options than you've ever had otherwise.

Most international movies are released with region codes 1, 2, 3, and 6 as those are the international markets that produce the most films. Those regions alone cover a lot of ground, much of it scattered across the globe. It is not that 4 and 5 do not have a wide array of releases, but you can find that there is a larger selection to be found in 1, 2, 3, or six. Region 7 and 8 are almost completely useless, region 0 is the null and will work on most players, and region ALL will work on every player. Not many legitimate releases are to be found on region 0 or ALL, which is why there are region free portable DVD players.

These players vary greatly in quality, so it's essential for you to look for reviews online and look around wherever possible. Normal retailers do not normally carry any region free players, though some electronics stores do. There are also several sites online that sell them as well. Bigger manufacturing companies like Sony do produce region free players so look for brands that you trust and have owned before.

As with any portable DVD player, take the screen size and battery into consideration. Being able to play DVDs from around the world is great, but a tiny screen may ruin the experience and a battery that dies every hour or two isn't going to be very enjoyable either. Keep a look out for quality when shopping for a region free portable DVD player, don't let the novelty of it force you towards a low quality DVD player model.

Which iPhone Football Game Reigns Supreme?

By Eric Meister

Football season is here and iPhone gamers are scouring the App Store for the best NFL video games available for their device. Three of the best apps in this genre are included in our round this week. The titles which made the cut are EA's Madden 10, Gameloft's NFL2010, and Chillingo's Super Shock Football.

Madden 10, the 20-year-old king of football games, has finally been released by EA and is now available in the app store. As you might expect, though Gameloft's NFL2010 was the first on the iPhone and iPod touch, Madden 10 is a solid addition that leaves gamers with a dilemma.

Visually, Madden looks good, but maybe not up to our initial expectations. The graphics are similar to yesteryear's console performance but don't compare to what is available today. For the iPhone though, they are adequate. The famous helmet-to-helmet effects and John Madden comments are all present. Additionally, all your iPod library tracks are available to override the built-in music score. Madden 10's controls all work well and all the options are quickly accessible.

Hopefully, we the game will obtain multiplayer and roster updates as the title gets successive updates in the App Store. Where it stands today, Madden 10 offers tons of replay ability. Don't forget, this is a Madden football title. Gamers will be playing this feverously until the next Madden title is unleashed. Comparing it to NFL2010, it's a close draw as both offer a slightly different experience. If you like, you may choose to buy both and determine which options you like the best. Madden appears in the App Store at a $9.99 price point. We believe it will remain there for the rest of the season. We give Madden 10 a 4-Star rating that puts it neck and neck with NFL2010.

The first full-featured football game in the App Store was NFL2010 by Gameloft. In relation to Madden 10, NFL2010 looks on-par and, of course, we need to do a comparison. Happily, NFL2010 holds up quite well against its 20-year-old competition and mobile gamers will love it through and through.

Graphically, the game looks gorgeous. This is the closest thing to Madden that we've seen. Sounds are good, with all of the expected football sound effects. Controls work well and are responsive. It just seems that it is lacking some of the functionality necessary to make us feel as if we have control over the plays. Often, it feels like we are simply watching them unfold as we've set them up. In fact, the plays where we felt like we had the most control were kicking plays, which utilize two gauges, one for aiming and one for power. This scheme works especially well.

If this is the first effort Gameloft has made with iPhone football gaming, we'd say NFL2010 is a glimpse of absolute success. We won't be putting down this title any time soon. When viewed in relation to Madden 10 and pricey console football games, the $7.99 price tag is cheap. A 4-Star rating is awarded this smash-hit title that impressed us through and through.

With Super Shock Football, iPhone app publisher Chillingo brings a different style to the football genre. Based on the electric football games of the past, Super Shock Football will grant a satisfying experience to iPhone gamers, even if it doesn't replace Madden 10 or NFL2010.

We really loved the graphics of the 2D players running around in a 3D world. A top down viewing angle is used for setups but switches to an on-field view when watching plays. Crowd noise, whistles, and vibrating players humming all adds up to some cool audio effects. All the controls can be met with a single finger. The bottom of the screen hosts game info like scores, time remaining, etc. These don't distract from gaming but are a little hard to make out. Players can set the quarter length and the number of men on each team up to 11.

Clearly, there are other games available for a more authentic football experience, but Super Shock Football is in a league of its own for nostalgia and humorous gameplay. If you don't take this game too seriously, it is an absolute blast. Replay value is very high, as anything can happen and the eventual outcomes are so random that no two games will be anywhere close to the same. Chillingo has priced Super Shock Football at $1.99 for a limited time, a very fair price for an enjoyable experience. Super Shock Football is worthy of a 5-Dimple touchdown dance.

The iPhone and iPod touch have skyrocketed to true gaming platforms in little over a year. We wanted to put together this NFL video games review for your benefit, but had no idea each would perform so well. All the titles: Madden 10, NFL2010, and Super Shock Football prove they are a few of the best apps available in the App Store at present.

To begin your online slots session, you first go to what is called the Payout Table. From here you can enter the amount of coins that you intend to spend. Here are two points that you need to take on board.

The "Bet One" button increases your bet by a factor of one each time you click it

You want to play the maximum bet so as to get the maximum opportunity out of the online slots. Most experts agree on this tip towards winning more at the online slots.

Most experienced online slots players tend to agree that to give yourself the best chance of making a profit, you should always maximize your bet.

Once you have chosen your bet amount, you have to click on the "Spin" button. This is where the fun of online slots begins especially when you can shout encouragements for the reels to align themselves as desired. (By you, of course) So, watch those reels spinning like so many dollars flashing before your eyes.

Once the winning combination across many paylines is achieved, and you had better play and pray that it does get to that point, you will be paid the corresponding amount. Of course, said winnings will be according to the Payout Schedule of the particular online slot game. And if you bet on online slots with a Bonus Game, the action of hitting the "Spin" button will activate it. This means, of course, that you get to play more and win more!

If your luck is in, you will end up with a winning combination, and you'll get that nice little feeling of satisfaction as you see you win flash up on screen in accordance with the payout schedule. A lot of players prefer to play the bonus option too because it gives them that extra spin, and the more times you spin, the more chances you have of getting a win.

Changing the Coin Bet Amount

This is a simple operation, really. Just click on the "Select Lines" button and see more and more paylines flashing before your screen the more you click on it. To buy more credits, you have to click on the "Bank" button, which will open the banking system for the online slot games. You can then purchase your desired number of additional credits. Then, you will exit the bank to return to the online slot game or to the casino lobby.

You're bound to want to vary the amount of your bet and it's pretty straight forward to do so. Just go to the "Select Lines" button and click. Each time you click, you will notice that you see more "pay-lines" appearing on your screen. Then if you decide that you need more cash to play with, you simply go to the "Bank" button, give it a click and it will open the casino's online banking facility. Enter the amount of cash you want, and then you can click back to the online game, or if you prefer, you can click over to the Casino's Lobby.

Top 8 Ways To Spot A Poker Bluff (Even Online!)

Spotting a poker bluff online is tricky. In offline play, you can watch body language and get physical cues as to when someone is bluffing. Usually unless they are a professional, all poker players give off signs they are bluffing through body language. Online, though, you don't have the ability to read body language, so how can you tell if someone is bluffing?

People still give off signals, even online, that they are bluffing. Some are better at covering, but others are a little loose and easy to catch. Either way, the following are 8 ways that you can spot a poker bluff online.

1. Pay attention to chatter. Some people cannot seem to hold their tongue. Some people who bluff will be chatting away. What they say may not match up to how they play and that is what you are watching for. Players may just reveal their bluff in what they say without ever realizing it.

2. A person bluffing may raise before the flop and quickly raise again. They are driving up the pot and hoping you don't have a hand you feel confident about.

3. If someone jumps into the game quickly or chooses to sits out and then changes their mind right as the cards are being dealt then they are someone to watch. They probably won't have a good hand, but are simply impatient. If they keep raising or they call quickly then chances are they are bluffing.

4. It is always smart to watch someone who goes all in with a low show on the table. This person may just be ready to call it a day and figures why not go out on a high note.

5. Get to know playing styles. The best players mix up their style, but your average player will usually follow the same general patterns. If someone starts playing odd then they should be watched. They may have a good hand, but chances are they are trying to bluff. Get to know the other players styles so you can spot when things are not quite right.

6. Watch aggressive or loose players. If you notice someone who is always playing aggressively then you never really know when to trust them because they cannot possible have an amazing hand every time.

7. Another thing about watching players - watch what is shown at the end. If someone keeps falling short then you know they like to bluff and you will keep an eye on them in the future.

8. People who play fast are a danger. Someone who is just playing fast and not putting thought into what they are doing is a loose cannon. They may not even have a clue how to play. Don't let them get you. Watch what they play and don't buy into their bluff.

These 8 ways to spot a poker bluff should help you to start being able to cut through the bluffs that are thrown your way online. After some practice and some time you should start to be able to spot online bluffs just as easily as you do during an offline game.

Positive Or Negative Focus

By Jason Kendall

A glance at any Best Seller list in bookshops today, will reveal a multitude of autobiographies of the rich and famous. From footballers to glamour models to empire builders, they all have their own story to tell, but each has a common theme - they overcame adversity by focusing on the positives.

This is the way the world works; to be achievers in life we must encourage positive reasons why 'we can' to flood our consciousness, and drown out negative excuses why we can't.

For the student, this attitude to studying is paramount. To successfully complete a training program, the biggest tool in a trainee's workbox is a positive mindset. An optimistic approach brings about all sorts of possibilities, circumstances, answers and opportunities to achieve. By contrast, a negative outlook thwarts creativity and blocks our learning receptors.

This is because of our Reticular Activation System - a mechanism that automatically tells our brain what to focus on. Over our lives, we've experienced a huge number things that no longer remain in the forefront of our minds - the majority of what we've learned moves from our conscious mind to our sub-conscious mind, a kind of cupboard that stores all our past beliefs and knowledge.

When we attempt consciously to do something, our RAS (Reticular Activation System) will search for any relevant information in the sub-conscious mind, and bring it to our attention. If we're taking a walk down a street, only the things that have meaning to us will be noticed - the rest is just background noise.

So if our conscious mind has regularly been transferring upbeat, positive messages to our sub-conscious mind, then that's what will come back. But if our sub-conscious has been fed a bunch of downbeat, defeatist messages, then that's equally what will come back.

Achievers, it appears, are able to manipulate the messages streamimg through to their sub-conscious minds. They do this by choosing the exact messages the conscious mind sends and deliberately programming their RAS. As such, it's an essential tool for achieving goals, as the sub-conscious mind can't tell the difference between real or imaginary events.

In other words, as it believes what it's told, we need to create a very specific picture of our goal in our conscious mind. The RAS will then pass this on to our subconscious - which will then help us achieve the goal. It does this by bringing to our attention all the relevant information which otherwise might have remained as 'background noise'.

Napoleon Hill said that we can achieve any realistic goal if we keep on thinking of that goal, and stop thinking any negative thoughts about it. Of course, if we keep thinking that we can't achieve a goal, our subconscious will help us not to achieve it.

Mobility Walkers Help You Take A Step Forward

By Amanda Nathan

The purpose of mobility walkers, which are also called Zimmerframes in the UK, is to help people who can not balance and stabilize themselves while walking, such as the elderly or disabled.

The most basic type of mobility walker is a simple frame that is slightly wider than the average body, about the height of the waist and approximately one foot in depth. Users grip the sides for balance, pick the frame up and place it slightly ahead. They then take the step or two needed to reach the original starting position. By continuing this movement, the walker allows them to move forward slowly without losing their balance.

Mobility walkers today come in designs more comfortable and easier to use than the original. They come in different sizes, such as a pediatric size for children and a larger than average one for people who are overweight. The height is now often adjustable which is important for circulation. The arms of the user should be bent.

The greatest improvements have come in the addition of wheels, making the walker easier to use and also allowing the user more speed in walking. These can come in various types, including ones that are like the basic kind with the addition of wheels in the front, with wheels in the front and caster wheels or glides in the back, or completely wheeled. Those which are completely wheeled come in either three or four wheel models.

Rollators are more advanced than a simple walker with wheels. The European style has handbrakes as well as a shopping basket. The lid of this basket can be used as a seat as well. The brakes are used not just to stop the walker but also to aid in turning.

For the person who does not need as much stability, the three wheeled mobility walker may be a good choice. It is easy to turn and to get into smaller spaces. It is also a bit more compact to store and transport.

For more stability and balance, one should look to the four-wheeled mobility walker. They take up more space and are a little harder to turn than the three-wheeled walker but come with additional comfort features, such as a seat.

Whichever model you prefer, mobility walkers are just an Internet away. There are a number of online sites to choose from and many of these will ship within the UK free of charge.

How To Count Cards

Card counting is a common strategy used to play and win at blackjack. If you have wanted to learn how to count cards, but have been worried it is too hard, then read on. You are about to learn simple steps to counting cards that will get you started. If you want additional information there are plenty of great resources all over the internet that teach the various methods of card counting. This should be enough, though, to get you started in card counting.

The high-low system is one of the most common methods of counting cards. It is also one of the easiest systems to understand. Before you start to learn how to count cards, you need to understand that card counting is not really about counting the actually number of cards, but rather figuring the ratio of high to low cards that remain in the deck. It may seem confusing, but just follow along and you should start to understand.

Assigning Values

In the high-low system you will assign point values to each card. Low cards include 2,3,4,5 and 6. These cards get a value of plus one. High cards are the 10,jack,queen,king and ace. These cards get a value of minus one. Neutral cards are the 7,8 and 9. They get no value assigned to them.

To begin with learning to count cards you should practice memorizing the values of each card. Go through a deck over and over reciting the card values until you are sure you have them memorized.

Keep the Running Count

Once you are feeling that you have the card values memorized you can start working with keeping a running count. This is more practice to get you ready for the actual game.

To keep a running count you start with a value of 0. As you flip over cards from your deck you will add or subtract the values. For example, if you have a king, queen, 2 and 8 you would end up with a count of minus 1.

Keeping the running count will likely take much more practice that just memorizing the values. It is essential, though, that you get keeping the running count down perfectly. You should keep practicing until it becomes like second nature and you don't hesitate anymore in figuring the count.

True Count

Once you are ready to play an actual game and count the cards during the game you will go from a running count to the true count. To do this you keep the running count and divide it by the number of cards remaining in the deck. The true count will tell you what to bet.

If the true count is positive then bet more. If it is negative then don't bet as much. This allows you to play smart and only bet when you have a good chance of winning. In the end you will likely win more than you lose. Card counting can be a great way to start improving your odds at the blackjack table and help you start to make more when you play.

Popular Antidepressant Amongst Men

By Carlo Mueres

Nortriptyline has been found to cause a ten-fold increase in suicidal thoughts in men when compared to its competitor escitalopram. These findings are published in the open access journal BMC Medicine.

The research was carried out by Dr. Nader Perroud from the Institute of Psychiatry, Kings College London, who headed up GENDEP, an international team. Dr Perroud said "Suicidal thoughts and behaviours during antidepressant treatment have prompted warnings by regulatory bodies". He continued "the aim of our study was to investigate the emergence and worsening of suicidal thoughts during treatment with two different types of antidepressant."

Both escitalopram and nortriptyline have their effect through the mood modulating neurotransmitter systems. The former is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), preventing serotonin from re-entering the cell and thereby prolonging its effect on nerve synapses. The latter is a tricyclic antidepressant that inhibits the reuptake of noradrenaline, and to a lesser extent, that of serotonin.

The study was carried out on 811 individuals with moderate to severe unipolar depression. Whilst an overall trend in reduction of suicidal thoughts was observed, men who took nortriptyline were found to have a 9.8-fold increase in emerging suicidal thoughts and a 2.4-fold increase in worsening suicidal thoughts compared to those who took escitalopram.

Perroud concludes, "Our findings that treatment-emerging and worsening suicidal thoughts may also be associated with psychomotor activation triggered by antidepressants needs to be investigated in future studies.

The study also refutes the idea that newer antidepressants such as the SSRIs are worse than older medications in terms of increasing suicidal thoughts."

Notes: Suicidal ideation during treatment of depression with escitalopram and nortriptyline in Genome-Based Therapeutic Drugs for Depression (GENDEP): a clinical trial Nader Perroud, Rudolf Uher, Andrej Marusic, Marcella Rietschel, Ole Mors, Neven Henigsberg, Joanna Hauser, Wolfgang Maier, Daniel Souery, Anna Placentino, Aleksandra Szczepankiewicz, Lisbeth Jorgensen, Jana Strohmaier, Astrid Zobel, Caterina Giovannini, Amanda Elkin, Cerisse Gunasinghe, Joanna Gray, Desmond Campbell, Bhanu Gupta, Anne E Farmer, Peter McGuffin and Katherine J Aitchison

You need to develop the characteristics of a top poker player. You need to practice and start figuring out what things the pros do that you should do. Here are some tips on how to play like a pro:

- Know that you will lose. It is a fact that you will not win every hand. However, accept it. Don't let it get you down. Don't get into a slump. Don't let yourself believe that the odds are against you just because you see to be having a bad day. The odds stay the same. Just follow all the advice in this article, stick to it and one day you will be the top player everyone envies.

Reviewing Online Casino Ratings

By George Carmichael

Before playing at an online casino, a player should be aware of the essential factors leading to a casino receiving a top industry rating. Online casino ratings are awarded for their fair, honest and friendly treatment of customers.

First, online casino ratings always take into consideration the friendliness, accessibility and efficiency of an online casinos customer support team. The best sites have agents available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Agents should be able to answer your questions quickly and effectively, and should always be friendly" just like in a real casino.

It is always a smart idea to test out a casino's customer support services if you are considering playing a bit in a casino. Chat or email a customer support rep and see how quickly and effectively they respond to your query. Players should check services out for themselves, as all casinos will boast top service in their advertisements.

Honesty and equity are the cornerstones of a top online casino. High quality customer support is important, but so too is transparency critical when assigning a top online casino rating.

Casinos with the best ratings have built in game and financial history tracking systems. These systems allow players to review the exact time, date and amount of every transaction they make. Sites with the best online casino ratings will offer this information up freely and openly.

TST, (Technical Systems Testing), is the most respected software technology of its kind available today. All sites with good online casino ratings have built-in systems testing software. TST is constantly running random tests designed to ensure that all games are being operated fairly and randomly.

Todays top online casinos work hard to set themselves apart from their competition. From top of the line technical systems testing software, to built-in game and financial history features, todays best sites know that in order to earn those online casino ratings, they have to pull out all the punches. Being awarded a top online casino rating is not a matter of luck.

Its about providing a state of the art gaming environment that is not only enjoyable, but secure, fair and transparent. That is what their customers have come to expect.

Writing on Walls - A New Trend in Home Improvement

By Bart Icles

Years before, walls were among the parts of the house that receive the least attention when it comes to home improvement. Merely covering the walls with a solid color of paint would do or simply adding a layer of wall paper to it would already be enough to make walls look more attractive. However, there are lots of other ways to make walls more fun, attractive and as important as the many other features of the house. Having wall murals inside the house is something that is no longer new to us but wall murals tend to be expensive and time consuming. Due to this, writing on walls has become a more affordable and easier alternative that can make our walls as attractive as how wall murals can make them look like.

Should you add writing on walls, you can also follow certain themes that would complement the overall feel of your house. You can even use writings on walls to differentiate different moods in different parts of your house. For example, the walls of your dining area can have writings in script font for an additional touch of class. You can add writings in the children's room using wacky or informal fonts that kids can relate to. Or you can practically use any font and message you want to reflect your personality on the walls of your house.

Writing on walls are more affordable than wall murals because there are so many materials that you can use instead of messy paint. There are wooden letters, plastic letters, paper letters, and even metal letters. You can purchase them from department stores, your local hardware or you can also search for them online. More recently, vinyl letters have become popular choices because they are easy to apply and remove, not to mention that they tend to be very affordable.

You can customize wall letters according to your preferences. You can have them in the color you most like. You can also choose the font to be used and the size of font to be used. The message you want to convey also depends on you. It can either be a single word or you can copy a whole prose or lines from a poetry book.

Whatever your choice may be, writing on walls is certainly fast becoming a new trend in home improvement. Try to learn more about wall letters and they just might realize they are the home improvement solutions you have always been looking for.

A Song by Song Review of The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

By James Ronald Wellingston

I think because of the massive amount of attention that is given to this album's so called "historical significance" that sometimes not enough attention is given to the music itself. I hope to correct that imbalance with this review which focuses entirely on the album's 13 tracks.

01. "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" - This opening track really sets the mood for the entire album. The song shifts styles abruptly just like the album does from song to song. And of course the crowd noise and the entire "Sgt. Pepper" concept are introduced here.

02. "With a Little Help from my Friends" - The perfect song for Ringo Starr to sing. John Lennon & Paul McCartney wrote this song together specifically for Ringo to sing which I think makes the great lyrics all that much greater (think of them in that context.)

03. "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" - This psychedelic journey through the mind of John Lennon remains one of the band's most famous songs. I love how it goes from the visions of the verse to the exciting sing along of the chorus.

04. "Getting Better" - This song so perfectly encapsulates the sound of this album and what it's all about to me.

05. "Fixing a Hole" - I love this kind of more subtle psychedelia. And yes, this is a very psychedelic song. And how about those lyrics? Anyone who doesn't think McCartney could write lyrics should pay close attention to these.

06. "She's Leaving Home" - This song is very interesting to hear in mono because it's actually sped up (and thus pitched up) in the mono mix. It has a lot more energy that way. Definitely worth a listen!

07. "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite" - What a deliciously weird song this is. It's brilliant how "far out" this album takes you. It's like a journey to different parts of the world (and certainly there is time traveling involved as well.)

08. "Within You Without You" - This is a song that gets a lot of hate by a lot of people and that makes me sad. It makes me feel like they don't really "get it." This song is an essential part of what makes this album so brilliant.

09. "When I'm 64" - Some people don't seem to get how "tongue in cheek" this song is. McCartney loved to mess around with different musical styles in this way. In fact I think Ween sort of ripped off their whole shtick from Paul McCartney. Listen to McCartney's "fruity" songs (as George Harrison called them sometimes) from the perspective of Ween doing them and I think maybe they'll click.

11. "Lovely Rita" - I have to admit that tracks #10 and #11 are probably my least favorites on the album. But considering I quite like both of those tracks, that says a lot about how much I love this album.

11. "Good Morning Good Morning" - John was inspired by a Kellogg's Corn Flakes commercial to write this song. Pretty cool lead guitar bits played by Paul.

12. "Sgt. Pepper's (Reprise)" - Rocks harder than the first version. I love how it ties the album together and it's brilliant how this closing version is "looser" just like a band may be looser at the end of a real show. And that's what the concept of this album was all about after all. The idea was that this album would "go on tour" rather than the band themselves.

13. "A Day in the Life" - The greatest song ever.

A Couple Of Quick Motion Picture Plot Lines To Go Over

By Chester Moses

It wasn't that long ago that a trip to the corner video shop was the most convenient way to get a movie. The next generation it seems will be getting their movies from movie downloads, avoiding any trips to the store. You will find just about any movie you want with a good movie download site. Below is a small sample.

Natural Born Killers: Mary Mallory is a teenager with an abusive father. After falling in love with Mickey, they viscously murder Mary's parents. Now they are on the run along Rt. 666. As they run, they go on killing sprees, usually leaving one person alive that can recount the events. As time continues they become a media sensation, almost national heroes.

The Ploughman's Lunch: Difficult, skeptical condemnation of British behaviors, ethics and affairs of state, focusing on the exercises of completely selfish journalist (Pryce) and others throughout the Falklands battle. The film is relatively perceptive, within the restraints of its outlook. Cast includes Jonathan Pryce, Tim Curry, Rosemary Harris, Blunt Finlay, and Charlie Dore. (100 minutes, 1983)

The Night of the Following Day: Excellent cast makes this sordid story of a young gal's abduction somehow more fascinating than it should be; pretty coarse in spots. Cast includes Marlon Brando, Richard Boone, Rita Moreno, Pamela Franklin, Jess Hahn, and Gerard Buhr. (93 minutes, 1969)

The Game: Nicolas Van Orton is a very wealthy man who has it all, but is bored stiff. Then, all of a sudden, his world is turned upside down. Nicolas is drawn into an impossible and intriguing situation. His life is turned upside down. This wild adventure he is on, is actually planned, it is a birthday gift from his brother Conrad.

Road Trip: Josh and girlfriend are in college, but 1800 miles apart. When Josh is videotaped having sex with another girl things are still safe. When that tape is accidentally mailed to his girlfriend in Austin, it's time for a road trip. He and his college buddies go 1800 miles so that Josh can try to save his lifelong relationship.

Murder on Monday: Graceful all-megastar production of Agatha Christie's whodunit set in the 1930s, with unrecognizable Finney as the master-sleuth Hercule Poirot, and all his suspects on the same railroad train. Vibrant amusement, although severely slow paced. Bergman won Best Supporting Actress Oscar. Cast includes Albert Finney, Lauren Bacall, Martin Balsam, Ingrid Bergman, Jacqueline Bisset, Jean-Pierre Cassel, Sean Connery, John Gielgud, and Wendy Hiller. (128 minutes, 1974)

Copycat: Helen Hudson is being asked out of retirement to investigate a baffling set of murders. Hudson is a forensic psychologist specialized in serial killers. With detective M.J. Monahan, the two start to uncover the mystery. When the killer learns the two are tracking him, they become his next target.

So Big: Disheartening adaptation of Edna Ferber's legend of an orphaned gal who turns into a schoolteacher in the middle of a farming town and raises her child to strive for a better life. Cast includes Barbara Stanwyck, George Brent, Dickie Moore, Guy Kibbee, Bette Davis, and Mac Madison. (80 minutes, 1932)

Forgetting Sarah Marshall: Here is a romantic comedy set in a beautiful resort in Hawaii. After being dumped by his girlfriend Sarah, he finally decides to go to Hawaii to get over the loss. Cast includes Mia Farrow, Scott Glenn, Mary-Louise Parker, Tony Goldwyn, Stephen Dorff, Eileen Brennan, and Giancarlo Esposito. (92 minutes, 1995)

AI Artificial Intelligence: In the near future, scientist Hurt and his team create a highly advanced android child who might experience feelings, containing love. Big Time: This is a Tom Delay compilation. Show footage filmed at LA's Wiltem Show is combined with scenes of the chameleon like Delay as assorted and miscellaneous characters: you'll see Delay, the sleazy lounge lizard, Delay's the gravel-voiced crooner, and Delay's the genuinely astounding actor. For Tom Delays fans, this is the next best thing to noticing him live. (87 minutes, 1988)

The Delta Factor: This is a Mickey Spillane story in regards to a private eye on a ClA mission to save a scientist imprisoned on an island. Cast includes Christopher George, Yvette Mimieux, Diane McBain, and Ralph Taeger. (91 minutes, 1970)

If you are having the party for an older crowd you can give Twilight themed wine sets. These can by any wine set that you have online that ties into the Twilight theme. You will know it when you see it. If uses werewolves, wolves, vampires, or has a night theme then you are on the right track. Wine sets are great because if your guests are 21 and over they will need something to open and seal a bottle of wine when they have special occasions to drink it.
