The Sinister Urge - Devoted cops Duncan and Moore set out to bash the "smut film racket," which is run by a loud blonde. Illustrates with absolute certainty how photographs of chubby ladies dressed in just their underwear can be a principal cause of adolescent delinquency. Cast includes Kenne Duncan, Duke Moore, Carl Anthony, Jean Fontaine, Dino Fantini, and Jeanne Willardson. (75 minutes, 1960)

Addicted to Love - This movie is a gloomy comedy where we find an ex-boyfriend, and an ex-girlfriend spying on their former partners. They find themselves teamed together, with the young lady planning acts of revenge for her ex- partner. Meg Ryan, Matthew Broderick, Kelly Preston, and Tcheky Karyo star. (1997 dark comedy directed by Griffin Dunne)

The All-American Boy - Disorderly drama in reference to Olympic aspirant Voight's attempt to be a triumphant boxer; stunning locations of northern California, but that's all. Cast includes Jon Voight, Ned Glass, Anne Archer, and Carol Androsky. (104 minutes, 1989)

Mysterious Lady - An Austrian armed forces officer (Nagel) falls in love with Garbo, naive that she is a Russian agent. Another contrived plot made serviceable by Garbo herself. Cast includes Greta Garbo, Conrad Nagel, Gustav von Seyffertitz, Albert Pollet, and Edward Connelly. (96 minutes, 1928)

Lunatics and Lovers - Aristocrat Mastroianni has a fictional spouse; an organ grinder persuades prostitute Mori to "impersonate" her. While it's not brainless, it's unexciting. Cast includes Marcello Mastroianni, Claudia Mori, Lino Morelli, Flora Carabella, and Adriano Celentano. (93 minutes, 1976)

The Search - Touching drama of American cadet Clift regarding for concentration camp survivor Jandl in postwar Berlin, when the lad's mommy despondently looks all over the camps for him. Beautifully performed and directed. Cast includes Montgomery Clift, Ivan Jandl, Aline MacMahon, Jarmila Novotna, and Wendell Corey. (105 minutes, 1948)

Jack Frost - A neglectful dad dies in an automobile accident and comes to life one year later on as a snowman in his kid's front yard! Nice, affable acting and an absence of aggression make this an alright family film. However, it on no account conquers its quintessential issue, an exceedingly creepy storyline. Cast includes Michael Keaton, Kelly Preston, Mark Addy, Joseph Cross, Henry Rollins, and Dweezil Zappa.
