You can even demand customer references on the quality of service of that photographer.

Of course, you have to inform the corporate photographer, who you plan to hire, about all the expectations that you want him to fulfil. This is important, because any misunderstanding can prove to be costly. Such a conversation will also help you understand how capable the photographer is, and how much at ease he would be at the event. Moreover, a comprehensive discussion would put the corporate photographer at comfort and he would be able to deliver his job adequately well done.
