How To Find The Better Options For A Youth Dirt Bike And At What Cost

By Steven Stacey

Buying a youth dirt bike is a big decision and one you will want to take your time making. I am currently looking for one for my teenager and I was surprised at all of the options available. I have been doing research for weeks now and I put together some of what I found to help you if you are considering making this type of purchase. These are a few of the big things you should look at.

You should always put safety first. This can be a dangerous toy for a child or teenager and you want to make sure to take certain steps to help keep them safe. This means that safety features should be the first thing you look at before you purchase a youth dirt bike.

Helmets play a big role in safety. You should always insist that your child wear these when they are on any type of bike or motorized vehicle that they are in charge of. These help to prevent head injuries in case of an accident and most are not very expensive but you will want to get a good one. You want one that is sturdy and durable and wont break on impact.

Breaks are one of the best ways to prevent accidents. You will always want to make sure the bike you choose has a good break system and that they stay in proper working order. A kill switch is also a good idea. These help prevent further injury in the event of an accident such as your child being drug behind the bike if they fall off or motor burns from the bike landing on them.

Slower speeds can help to prevent accident as well or at least the seriousness of the accident. The idea here is to find a top speed you can live with and that your child will be happy with. Kids would prefer the fastest dirt bikes available but as parents we know that isn't always a good idea.

Next you want to look at the size of the bike and the maximum weight it will hold. You want a bike that is small enough for your child to handle without problems but large enough that he or she won't have a problem riding it. This means looking at seat height and weight limits. You want one that your child can sit comfortable on and hole more than their weight.

Another thing that should be considered is where you child will be riding the bike. Most of these are not street legal so they need a safe place to use this bike. I know price is a big factor for most but I feel I have to recommend buying these from a dealer and buying new models. These are less likely to malfunction and cause potential accidents.

A youth dirtbike might be wonderful for some children but you should also consider if your child is mature enough to follow rules and ride safely. Check out all of your options carefully and read all owners manuals. Remember safety should always be your first priority.

Porch Awnings Are Easy To Make By Hand

By Jorge Sutherland

When travelling, it's important to keep yourself protected from the elements. One great way to do this is by building a caravan porch awning. If you want to to keep Mother Nature off your face, then this is a no brainer. Simply follow these instructions.

Difficulty: Easy

The Plan

Items You'll Be Using:

1. Canvas tarp

2. Tape Measure

3. Some Rope (nylon if you can)

4. Stakes

5. Adjustable tent poles

6. Weatherproofing Scotchguard

The Creation Stage

Use the tape measure and figure out the length of your caravan. How wide do you want that awning to end up being? Canvas tarps are available in numerous sizes, but most caravan awnings are about nine feet deep. Try to measure out the size that's perfect for your needs.

Purchasing Canvas Tarp

Give a few phone calls to authorized canvas tarp dealers and talk to someone who is experienced in the use and various sizes of canvas tarps. Mention the dimensions of your awning and then place an order for what you need.

Buy Remaining Supplies

Make a stop at your local outdoors store and pick up the tent poles, stakes, and the nylon rope. For best results you should purchase six tent poles and one hundred feet of nylon rope. Try pre-constructed pieces to ensure the building process is as simple as possible. Get all the items and pieces of same together in the same room once your canvas tarp arrives and prepare to assemble your caravan porch awning, first at home.

Using The Right Area

Move your caravan into a big enough area to accommodate the size awning you're going to build. Your best bet is to park over an area of soft earth. If you end up stopped over tar, you can use tent stakes and large metal nails to drive through the roadway. If you're dealing with concrete, hammer a stake into a crack to avoid surface damage.

Putting It All Together

Flatten out your canvas tarp on the ground. Arrange it so that it is placed beside the caravan in the appropriate manner. Move one tent pole's tip into the grommet at a corner of the canvas tarp that is closest to the caravan, being careful to raise the corresponding awning's corner until that tent pole has become vertical. Keep this pole in the right position until a securing line is staked into the ground.

Putting On Your Awning Line

This step is fairly simple, but extremely important. Designate fifteen feet of your rope for this task, knotting one end and making a loop of it so it will stay on the correct side of the canvas. Use this loop and carefully toss it over the high point of the vertical pole. This should allow you to fasten the other side with the stake, which will then be driven deep into the canvas tarp by the loop. Make sure the loose end rope is secured by a stake.

Finishing Your Remaining Materials

This step simply involves using your last five tent poles to connect to the corresponding grommets. When all is said and done, you should have three awning poles for the front and rear.

Weatherproofing Your Awning

Last but not least, spray your canvas tarp with your Scotchguard. Make sure you give your caravan porch awning three hours to dry, and then apply a second coat. When it is finally all dry, your awning should be perfectly waterproofed for years. When you've finished using it, take the awning apart and store somewhere cool and dry.

What Is The Difference Between 2D and 3D Animations

By Cody Landon

Numerous people when they hear the term animation they automatically think of cartoons, yet if they are on the comp at all then they have most likely been open to animation. This doesn't mean they have been watching cartoons when they were suppose to be working.

Animation is not just restricted to cartoons. Nor is there simply one type of animation. The common and current one thats famous now is 3D animation, but numerous of us grownups grew up with 2D animation. Which by the way in my opinion was just as much fun as it is nowadays, but perhaps lots more work by way of manual labor. That didnt deter the love of animation that's so evident in those Saturday morning cartoons.

Animation is an illusion. Not meaning it doesn't exist it means that youre making the viewer think that a particular object is moving on his very own. Like when Mickey Mouse waves to his friends at the end of a cartoon. In the beginning, in 2D every time an object was going to take different position no matter how slight it had to be hand drawn that way. No doubt, the completed project was comprised of many drawings. There are put together in sequence called frames, depicting one movement to another.

As technology in the industry grew so did animation. Together came the comp and within a short while the 3D animation became a reality. The animation industry hugged this new form of art and as a result, what took a few people to attain was now cut down to a handful or less. The comp had the capabilities of doing much of the work. In case youre thinking that there goes the computer replacing people this is not the case. What it did do was offer the opportunity to have better tools to produce a better job. There still has to be the operator of those tools, and thats where the animator comes in.

In all Sense, the inception of 3D animation will have opened the door for a few other job opportunities. Being as 3D animation is now utilized in a couple of other industries, not only does it need an individual to design it, it now needs people to present it.

Every animation has one thing in common it must start with an idea or concept. And then this idea is put to a story board. Here this's where the idea is now in a visual state. The elementary script has presently been designed. Now it has to have an audio track still in rough form created. This stage gets a little technical as it utilizes a method called vector graphics, which's dependant on mathematical equations as opposed to pixels.

Say one had to summarize very quickly the difference between 2D and 3D animation, the simple answer will be the equipments that're used to reach the results. The original 3D animation first utilized stop motion techniques, and then as the comp moved into play it became 3D computer animation. The similar job being done just more cost effective efficient and motivated.

Optional Features

Even though all the features above are great, you can find RTG machines that let you win more and allow for more playing time. These include:

Some RTG Examples

Probably the only downfall to RTG machines is figuring out which ones you want to play. So here is a short list of slots you may want to try:

- Ronin: higher risk game with random bonus round to earn free spins

- Prince of Sherwood: a fun themed game that offers some unique bonus rounds

We will warn you; the first time you play RTG machines, you won't want to go back to the old ones you were playing. The overall experience can't be explained. Sure we could sit here and boast about them all day, but until you have the opportunity to play them yourself, it just won't be the same.

Progressive Jackpots- Are They Worth Your Time?

Whether you've been to casinos near your residence or even the ones online, we imagine you've come across progressive jackpots at least once. Do you want to know why everyone is so excited about them? Whether or not they're worth your time? Don't worry, we've got a few answers today that will help.

Defining Progressive Jackpots

Understand these types of jackpots are pretty simple. Each time you play, if no one hits the overall jackpot then it progressively gets bigger. Think like how the Mega Millions in the United States gets bigger each drawing if no one wins the ultimate prize. It's pretty much the same thing.

You will usually find that there are several machines linked to one overall jackpot. This allows it to get much bigger at a faster pace. Keep in mind though you are competing with other individuals, which means any of you could end up being the winner.

Why The Hype?

It's safe to say that if you're new to progressive jackpots, you have to wonder about all the hype. After all, there are so many people that love to play them and others who won't play anything else. So what's the big deal?

Basically it just comes down to being able to win so much money in a short period of time. Even if someone else hits it, before long the jackpot will be right back up to an exciting amount. It's an endless growing pattern that anyone would want to have a piece of on or offline.

Then of course the fact that they are associated with gaming machines is just as important. We already know slots are very popular, and the biggest reason is you don't need a special knowledge to play. Best of all, you can find them at any online or offline casino nowadays.

You will also find that in order to win you have to play a certain amount of credits. Sure, you can play the minimum amount, but you will be taken out of the running for any of the progressive jackpots available. Oddly enough, most of the individuals who take this route don't understand they are still contributing to the overall jackpot winnings. So those who are playing the maximum can enjoy better odds.

Another aspect you need to remember is these offer the same odds as a regular machine. You can win just as much money from progressive jackpots, and even more if you hit the big one. So in a sense you get more for you money.

Now, we can't tell you to play progressive jackpots because it will be up to you, but knowing you have a good chance at big payouts is a nice benefit. Then again, if you want to stick to regular slots be our guest.

If you do take this route, make sure you consider everything that comes into play. How many people are playing, the amounts they are gambling each time, and all the other details. It's also important to understand that you have the same odds of playing progressive slots as you do those numbers machines on the other side. Just stick to your strategies and enjoy the chance of winning the big jackpot.
